Whoa. That's one is painted very well. But I think there is some design problems. Helmet seem to be very advanced, made mainly by bent forms. His hands are very weird, I can't find any rational usage of them, except digging. Or if you wanted to show them as unfinished, interior structure should be visible. And the chest... advanced hands, helmet, technology, and a box. It don't look interesting, more like a toy or something. But if it have to be a box, look at other designs. You can model this form to be way more interesting. Some examples what I mean:

http://th04.deviantart.net/fs71/PRE/f/20...3yf4u9.jpg
http://fc03.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2013/1...648oq7.jpg
And the legs. He seem to be able to walk only forward or backward. The last thing is shiny scientist. There is no way he lights like a candle, if he is only illuminated. You should simplify him.
But I love the way you have rendered this one. Keep it up. And I know, my english is terrible, but maybe you will understand xD

Hey Defre!!

This is awesome! I love the colors and the warms versus the cools. Awesome textures and rendering too, I am really diggin' those textures! I hope you don't mind I go in for a tiny crit.

I'm intrigued by your spots of green, I wonder if you can incorporate more small areas to lead the eye around the composition. Perhaps more green glowing spots on the robot or perhaps consolidate them on the architecture behind him.

I understand the idea of leaving areas unfinished so the parts that are finished can shine through, but the areas that are unfinished seem to have that photoshop 'mushy' feel...like being able to tell it was made in photoshop. Perhaps you can make brushes that create a finished feel and just make a few brushstrokes and leave those strokes down while the areas that are polished and rendered can really sing. The areas that I see that could be utilized most are at the bottom corners.

Well, I hope that was okay! Great job altogether! :)

Thanks for the examples!
Yeah I have some problems with design , but I didn't think that his chest will look weird. I tried to do hands for close combat with some type of power claws , and maybe I failed with his right hand. And now (thanks to you) I really understand that artist should imagine how machine is constructed and how it moves and acts. About the scientist - he has come kind of metal helmet on him and it reflects the light that shines from the left and backward , but , yeah, maybe the reflection is to sharp. Don't worry , you speak English i very good! (Especially for me , because English is not my first language)
Thank you for super critique!
