Hello! I've been sketching a lot lately trying to improve and I decided to upload some 3/4 views sketches of random imaginary people. Greetings!

Hey.
To be honest this study was a fail: the figure was supposed to be Zooey Deschanel, but it ended up so different. So I decided to do some little modifications mostly in the eyes and hair. Greetings!

Hey artleech. Those faces are really coming along, especially the Zooey Deschanel inspired one but I think your rendering of the hair lets them down. Try to avoid drawing lots of individual lines and focus on the mass and shape instead. There are lots of tutorials out there but here's a good one by Linda Bergkvist http://www.cgsociety.org/index.php/CGSFe...istic_hair

Here's some more info on faces for moving forward! Keep up the hard work you've got the right work ethic and mindset and it just comes down to mileage and you will keep it going!

I love the way you art. When are you gonna post some beautiful figures and color illustrations? I'm really interested in how you would tackle those.

Thank you!
I'm following some tutorials about digital skin painting so maybe I'll post something in colour.
Specifically these two tutotials that Matthias shared with me today:

Holy cow your understanding of perspective in portraiture is wonderful!
And tbh that 'fail study' of Zooey Deschanel made my jaw drop -- I can really *feel* the emotion in that one, it's really something!
keep up the good work buddy!
