what the heck is this symbol??

I see this on YT all the time; i have no clue what it means, do any of you know what it is?

I dont actually know but from what I see it looks like a top down view of a wrapped gift or it is the microsoft windows logo being smashed or 'cracked' if you will. Could be one of those , maybe someone who knows can answer better :).
