rendering question
#1
Hy! I have a question thats been bothering me for some time now, maybe someone has already asked this but here it goes:

How does one achieve a more professional looking render in photoshop (or realistic) , and how do you know when to stop rendering an image?

Ok those were two questions but still...I often find myself not finishing an image just because I am not sure if I should push it further.

Please help :)

You can try keeping a print out of another artist's painting that you consider professionally finished to a realistic standard you like to have too. Tape that print on something nearby so you can see it all the time while you're working. It'll remind you what you're going for, how your stuff compares to your goal, and whether or not you should keep going or stop and move on to next challenge.
