I'm bad at picking colors, so I just took a bunch of apples, placed them near me and did some flat color studies under different light, I kinda got lazy with the last two.

Hey here some new stuff, I started to go through Bridgman a little, where I would kust draw something from his book and then close everything and then paint it again from memory. I also did a study under a time limit, trying to get faster and more efficient, the study was done in 2h. The anatomy is clunky and I should have gone darker with some values and kinda rushed at the end when I realized that my time was almost over. But I try to make it in the next study better.

why are you copying all these things? do you want to do a fine figure drawing from reference or are you trying to be able to construct a figure from your imagination? gotta apply it to a longer effort, whether referenced or not to make it count, else your wasting your time if you arent thinking about what you do and dont know

I think if you really want to progress you will go back to traditional people .Usually skip to digital because of impatience.Don't mind my comment if you only draw for fun only.

It's been a while, some stuff happend, but I'm back on track now.
Everything is bigger on my study but I was mainly focused on the colors and the face. It didn't went to well, the values seem to be off, so are the proportions, but there is always the next image.

you need to focus on values before color, ever. and draw a hell of a lot more, If i were you, I wouldnt paint for at least a year and dedicate myself solely, to drawing accurately first
