Feeling a little fed up with what I usually draw, so I'm taking a couple of weeks to study something I don't usually do, portraits. Hope this thread can help me keep going! Critique welcome, I guess

Here's some work from today.
This guy rests on a shaky foundation. I didn't really do an underdrawing for him

Welcome! (Although you joined before I did). Keep training, pay attention to proportions, placement, perspective. Train on simpler shapes in parallel to grow a sixth sense for shapes in space. Keep posting!
