Hello everyone! 

I'm glad to have found somewhere to post art again. Starting off this thread with an old piece from highschool before posting more recent work later on.

My current personal project. Still pretty messy with a lot of shorthand going on at this stage. If anyone has tips on how to convey smoke, please let me know!

Dang, you were already pretty good by high school. I didn't even start drawing until after I was 20.

As for smoke, I don't have much experience with that, but I looked around on pinterest and I think maybe this is a good approach: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/645844402829855371/

Seems to balance lost edges with thin, defined lines. See if you can find something you like more. Look forward to seeing what you come up with.
