The best of the CHOWs will be picked by an anonymous poll in the Finals thread and the winner is given the opportunity to pick the theme of the next CHOW's design, as well as becoming the title banner for that week! So go hard, design something interesting and unique!



Rules:

• You must post at least one WIP in the WIP thread to be accepted into the final poll.
  
• Finals must be posted in the finals thread before the deadline.
  
• At least 3/4 of the character must be visible (minimum from the knees up).
  
• Only ONE submission per person in the finals thread.
  
• No fanart. We want to see your original, unique interpretations!
  
• Voting will be held for 5 days after the deadline.
  
• In an event of a tiebreaker, a winner will be chosen through a randomized name picker.

I wasnt able to achieve a finished painting but it was a fun project after all.
My goal was to design a mage who is skilled in reshaping the earth.

CBinnsIllustration Really great work here again. The overall mood, detail, and fire effects came out great. Really nice painterly effect as well in your rendering, looks very much like an oil painting.

JosephCow Really great entry, color palette, and rendering style. You've really done a great job of making this look very traditional. I like how you really have a nice feel of back ground and fore ground along with how your treated the post and movement of the drapery. A really strong and great entry!

TrashPanda I let this one fly in the poll although it's not technically not finished in the since of a painting, but it is a really great graphical piece.

Cheers! It was a fun topic for sure! And truly great pieces from all you guys!  I will try to get something up today for a new challenge and hopefully not a dud like my last one lol. Might give a couple weeks on this one in case folks need a bit more time to join in.
