Shot glassing it !!

:dodgy: Found out ive bin shot glassing into a project, I continue to make the mistake of focusing on certain things and areas when i should be loose and working on the overall image! thought d share this with you guys

do you find you get fixated on parts of images you work on ? I s this the result of not taking enough breaks and trying to push through?

I found that despite the time i have dumped into this sketch ive "shot glassed a good part of it " So where previous iterations showed promise, now I see a bunch of issues that require back tracking.-.- BUT ! nonetheless ive learned...

Lately I've found myself getting caught in details that are way too small and unnecessary to be seen at normal viewing resolution, things like eyes and today especially I found myself adding ridiculous detail to a crabs mandibles....

In my case it's just getting caught in the "fun" parts too early without ensuring the image works as a whole first.
