--Personally I already thought that military coups weren't good for democracy, even if they topple an autocratic regime, typically another asshole just uses it as an opportunity to seize power.

--Always hard to say what happens in any coup until after it's all done or it is failed. One thing's for certain, forced military takeovers rarely make a country better in terms of "democractic" ideals anyway. It's just power shuffling amongst the elites.
