--I remember a server change on another forum that caused a similar thing to happen. Maybe it's a giltch with the way the transition works... like, it creating new accounts with the information of the old ones, and since newly created accounts are logged in by default, you have a short period of times where there are as many logins as the forum has users.

--I reckon most peoples started art as a hobby anyway (some that comes to mind Noah Bradley, Suzzane) eventually they have found what they wanted to do with it, and pursued it more hard core.
