I really like your grayscale form studies! It's nice to see your personality with the variety of subjects here too.
Have you tried taking cast shadows a step further after you block them in? Usually there is a soft edge at the edge of the shadow (penumbra). Sometimes within the shadow there are darker and lighter areas as well. Just something to think about.
Btw Rebelle is great. Though a bit pricey in comparison to Krita.
