@Crowbit - thanks - yeah it was from reference but I liked the shape of it's profile so thought I would sketch it.
@Citrus - thanks for the kind words, I didn't end up doing any more texture work, just trying to study proportion and form at the moment as well as mixing in some imaginative sketching.
