Title: The Flirty Herbalist
Date: September 22, 2014
Medium: Photoshop CS6
Scale: Original is 1500px x 1500px
Notes: Again, I was staring at the old Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale character portraits.
This is my second attempt at a fantasy character portrait done in that style. Trying to push into using reference effectively.
Previous attempt here: http://matkaminski.blogspot.com/2014/08/...ments.html
Also... here's where I'm getting ideas for the color schemes: http://www.seventhsanctum.com/generate.p...=quickchar
And just for fun... here's the tutorial.

Title: Illustration 5: Absolved Character Archetype #2 - Vigilants
Date: September 22 & 23, 2014
Medium: Photoshop CS6
Scale: Original is 8.5" x 11"
Notes: This is very much a work in progress. Just trying to get a sketch down for class. I have much work to do, much more realization to do as well (especially with those cats). I'm not sure if I want to keep her hands static or have her more so interacting with her cats or laptop. Just quickly trying to throw down some lines and tone.
