Thanks for the reply! It's been a hell of a semester, so it's pretty awesome to finally see some results come of it.
This newest piece was really to test my color more than anything else... I tried to really make sure that the many colors showed through. It was insanity trying to get all those little details in as fast as I was working.
I highly recommend you jump in on Fan Art Friday, it's really awesome and gives you a goal for the end of the week, plus a little time to not think as much about creating entirely new subject matter - unless of course you wanted to manipulate some old-school pixel art *wink, wink*.
Anyway, thanks viewing, as always I'll try to keep on posting more and more!

Title: Fan Art Friday Saturday: Six ft Six Head and Shoulders
Date: November 5 - 6, 2014
Medium: Photoshop CS6
Scale: Original is 2592px x 1720px
Notes: This was a piece to challenge myself to the max! I wanted to make sure that the next piece that I did was completely full of color. This one was a complete challenge in every aspect.
Sorry that it was delayed from Saturday... but I hope it was worth it.
And as always... bonus tutorial:

Hey, it's been a while I found the time to comment on your sketchbook! It's great to see you doing all this work and studies, and it's awesome to see how much your colour vision already improved! The time and work you put in developing your skills is really paying off (: Fanart Friday is pretty cool, I saw a bunch of other people do it as well. The Leon-Fanart came out great and it's interesting to see your steps for it. I've got nothing major to crit, except maybe to set up the values a bit more clearly, but that's probably also a bit a matter of personal taste.
Anyway, keep up the great work!!
