Fantasy illustration - asking for help

This is a really nice painting, and you've recieved some really cool crits here too. The one thing that stands out to me is the harpies facial expressions. They look almost tranquil and peaceful which doesnt read well considering the dwarf dude looks like he wants to kill them.
