Need more impact

I for this piece i wanted the monster to be big lumbering beast rather than something violent, been playing with this for a while but dont really know where i can go with it,
I have since blurred out the crowd in the foreground a bit to give it some depth of field and want to change the colour of the beast too.
Any thoughts?
