I would look at some Shadow of the Colossus screens shots. That game is all about lumbering huge beasts.
Not saying I know much about animals and how violent they are but this creature you have, this "lumbering" beast looks like it could be pretty violent to me. It has the body of a gorilla and what looks to be the head of a monitor lizard. Giant body + lizard head = dino about to mess shit up. Maybe look at animals that are more docile like elephants, gaffes, herbivore dinos.
