Livestream and XSplit

I recently got on to livestream and got xsplit (paid for 3 month liscense subscription) but am having trouble getting it to function perfectly. Most of the problem I think I can find workarounds for but the main one is that I dont know how to get xsplit to upload my videos after the recording is done. I was under the impression this happened automatically. I am able to broadcast it over my channel but cant find an option that would havei t upload it, am I doing something wrong?

Also what is the best way to use xsplit? are there settings I should use to make sure it works effectively?
