Darkiste: it really varies, like today was bout 3 hrs, days where i say it was a long day are usually 6+ hrs, when i was doing prokos anatomy course it was a solid 8 hrs a day, when i have a commission i get mild anxiety and cant study or anything until i have an approved sketch, but once i have it i can render for 8+ hrs and i have to finish it before i do anything else. The most conservative estimate is 4 hours per day, the more realistic is about 6, and my ideal would be 8. If i didnt get joint pain, had some great music/prank calls/audio to listen to i could go way over 8 hrs a day and not really notice it.
Roana: thats an interesting observation lol, I even mentioned what you said to the client but he seemed to like it anyways. But due to you pointing it out, ill probably add a floating anime tiger and goat who are rubbing their belly to give it a more japanese feel
Really was digging Daves new piece, had to do a quick study of it. I could potentially spend a week drawing all the beads and swirlies, learned some cool tricks in this its a really sweet piece, check it on his deviantart, his ink stuff is jaw dropping, some of the best ive seen, ever. be in town tomorrow
