[Modelling] [3dsMax] is this bad?

Did the tutor unwrapped UVs before starting to work on textures? (normal workflow is UVs then texture... unless 3ds doesn't work like that but I'll be surprised..)

Yes, I realized some time after this post that I hadn't unwrap the model yet, lol. But since they have provided all the texture maps already, I'm going to skip the UV part and load up one of their pre-made, WIP scene files that has the UV already, and continue from there. It's just time wasting and not possible to but my own UV to fit an already-made texture map without seams. I seriously need to stop freaking out the instant I run into problem, and take a step back to survey the larger picture, overall.

I'm on lesson 3...6? Haven't done it in days.... .
