Yep for sure, by skills I do mean across the board as well. Some people are just better at the marketing and liaison bits, others with finance, others with operational systems, admin etc. It all does need to come together of course. And not everyone would be able to work on purely what they like, but there is power in a co-op to be able to stack the odds more than in a typical company I guess.

In terms of artistic integrity, well you are still going to be working for other people on their projects. Ultimately the most fulfilling thing seems to be working on your own ideas, not others, but I do see that it can be a way to tailor a better balance, and work on a shared co-op IP and feel more independent.

Anyways I'm sold on the idea for sure, thanks for bringing it up!
The forum really is focused more on the grinding of individual skills really. Again it all comes down to the people involved. Everyone really needs to be on the same page and have some sense of shared vision otherwise it just won't work.
