We can all improve as artists as long as we are willing to put down the work! And forums like these are a great way to put pressure on ourselves to stay productive!
That's really great man, I know CA may seem like a 'lightning in a bottle', but an art forum allows you to showcase your work in that way a newer platform can't. I hope CD lasts for a long time, just wish there were more people here. But, the more we post... I tried Discord just to see where the majority of the online art community has got and HOLY COW this shit is hard to navigate. It's so busy and unlike a forum you really don't get a designated space to host your work and see your progress. You get lost in the umpteen chats and the speed. Where's the breathing space? A sketchbook forum is basically a virtual studio space, in which fellow artists can peek round and see what you are doing, rather than you feeling you are shoving your work in other people's faces. Discord feels like a crowd. Doesn't seem very productive nor intuitive. Gah!
