I went to Kyoto for a couple of days before returning home to the US. Half the time it was stressful 'cos I didn't speak a whiff of Japanese, and kept getting lost, but it was a very different experience on all the senses. I'm trying to pick up the pencil and the habit of sketching anywhere again.
