Hi all,
My name is Josh, I'm 19, and I recently joined Crimson Daggers. I've already known about this group since last January, but never really had a chance to join in. I'm currently an animation student, though the course outline pretty much covers from traditional to digital to 3D, With that being said, I really want to push myself towards digital painting above anything else. I only started taking digital art seriously last year (since I only learned how to do it last year, lol.) and thankfully the school has a very good lecturer to help us out. After that I more or less started to explore more, though despite that I still do plenty of noobish stuff like color picking ( Color's one of my main weaknesses. T^T), anatomy, and understanding of the material's texture, etc.
So far here's a collection of studies I've been doing Digitally for the entire year (Top to Bottom; Oldest to most recent), I'll upload the ones from my actual sketchbook afterwards.
Please let me know how I can improve from here.
And here's some from my sketchbook, also going from oldest to most recent.
