Perspective & colour help please
#1
Hey,
I am going for a post apocalyptic (but not overly so... so a bit disused and overgrown) close-future (2015) train station. I will have the ceiling caved in on the left where the black bit is, and creepers coming through it (its a shallow underground station).
I spent the last two hours correcting the perspective so hopefully the perspective on the pillars is right now!! Does anyone know the trick to get them spaced right for future use? I just had to kinda guess it.
I really have no clue what kind of colour scheme to go for, it needs to be modern such as

but have post apocalyptic grungy elements to it, like broken shop windows, bloody handprints on vending machines (classic) and broken lights.
Please give me some ideas here! Any paintovers would be awesome, as well as any critique.
This is just at the sketch stage, but im not sure how to progress.
Thanks very much all!

Thanks a lot for the crit mate, very helpful, especially the idea about emergency lighting and the colour contrasts :)
