I made a big decision in my life today.
One that many people including family members will and have disagreed with.
However, I wouldn't be doing this if I didn't believe in myself 100%.

I'm deferring from uni in around 6-7weeks.

In this time I will be working a minimum of 8hrs a day studying and practicing art.
Attending life drawing classes in the city every Monday night, and then some if I find more classes held during the week.

I'll be back - it's an odyssey, after all

I did the same in February...I know how you feel and I am well aware of the fire burning beneath your bottom.

Only thing I can say is good luck and godspeed!!

Thats a risky move, but fortune only smiles to the brave!
When i told my parents and friends that i was going to left artschool to study on my own from home, no one agreed with that decision. They said i was going to waste my time for nothing.
Of course, that was until they realized that i was serious business with this art thing, and when i started to improve, to get some jobs, etc... they shut up their mouths and never bothered me again.
On the contrary, now my parents support me 100% same with my friends.

What i mean is, prove them they are wrong, prove them that you can do it.
It's all up to you!
