good job. one thing not sure if you want to correct it or not but you seem to push color a little bit to much look at the top it a much darker blue then it should just pointing out dont forget that the of the position of sun at the horizon tell you what kind of blue you should use if it low it darker if it high it lighter depend on sunrise or sunset.

@Darktste: Thanks, may be my colorblindness kicking in there too. it's hard for me to tell between some tones of colors and I mix up blue&purple, and then red&green. Sometimes green&grey too. I noticed after looking too, that I was making too small of brushstrokes-detailing up before forming the big picture, which is something I got to work on preventing. Give me more studies to do! maybe master studies? I need to do more!

Here's some more work.

Spitpainting: 30min - Gnome Warlock

Here my focus was on forming the big picture and using good brushstrokes! practicing patience and thinking before painting!

sci-fi soldiers (was originally for a spitpainting (I think lasergun topic, but I took like an hour)

Here's an update on some head drawings and paintings I did recently. I started the drawings from life, then exaggerated and stylized to make them more interesting. I've been starting to do more traditional work, so soon I'll be posting a 24" x 36" acrylic landscape I'm working on.

update-

Graduated high school, got a job as a maintenance guy, and won second place in the Autodesk CGstudent awards contest for my category. Exciting stuff. I have had some time to do art among my busy life, but just never get around to posting it. I've finished some client work for a book cover and the interior illustrations, as well as a lake environmental design. The book client I can show the work from, so here's what I've been working on.

virtual plein-air facebook group. This is in Jerusalem, Israel.
