Software for creating smoke?

Hello,
I was just wondering where you, guys create smokes or vapors in your digital paintings?
I tried it in Corel for hours but I couldn't get an effect I wanted.
Can you recommend anything?

I know some people use Alien Skin Eye Candy, but I just use photoshop and look at plenty of references.

Everything can be created with a brush, take the time to do studies of smoke and you can paint it anyway you want

Thank you, guys for your help. It's so true that I must study more about smokes to make them at least usable :-)
But I made some research and found great app that could solve my problem. It's called Flame Painter - love its online version http://www.escapemotions.com/experiments...x.html#top
It makes very nice smoky effects. What do you think of it?

Codec offers some plugins which we installed on the photoshop, these are very helpful for creating smoke on the painting.
