Long time since I posted anything here.

here are my studies from last days
Metal studies: metal ball. the reference was Dave's R zombie knight.
The one on the right is direct study. the one on the left is checking what I've remembered (each under 25 mins)

And applying of those study:

Archangel Michael for CGHUB's character forge

Next is fishskin study, greatly failed. (15 mins)
the on on the left is direct, the on the right is checking what I've learned.

Next one is a movie shot from LOTR (the upmost) next is direct study, and lastly checking what I;ve learnt. (the stuies are each under 30 mins)

As a result of those last two studies I did this for speedpainting funtimes group on fb.
the topic was "scaled beast" 50 mins something. without phototextures.

The next one is another topic for speedpainting funtimes
Earth collossus. I id a study of a sunset lit mountain for that, but I haven't saved it.
53 mins. using photos (mountains)

Troll Hunter. For the same group. 44 mins. Used photos for "forrest" texture

And of course a dragon. 10 mins sketch.

It's been forever. I was attacking my flaws. Here are some speedpaints (50 mins each not using phototextures)

aaaaand some sketches

Heres trying to tackle some design via robots/ sci fi from 20 - 40 mins each

a set of studies over material - trying to indicate those materials as fast as I can each took from 5 to about 20 mins

a mix of sketches - 30 -45 mins

here's another sketch using mixer brush mostly ( figuring stuff out)

some semi finished pieces about 2,5 hours for first

and about an hour for second

and finally a sketch from today. I lost all of my tool presets and brushes. so today was a day of trying to recover everything that I gathered for last 6 months.

done a sketch in the process - 30 - 35 mins
