I've heard a couple people mention that term including Feng Zhu. What exactly is it referring to and how would I go about bettering it?

Visual library refer to being able to draw from life certain oject. To be able to represent the object in your mind so that you can draw it in as many angle as possible. To do that you need to deconstruct the object into shape.

Never really thought of doing this before, but I saw a couple people on here doing master studies so I thought I'd try it out. Also, prerequisite female proportion studies

Thanks for the warm welcome :) I watched your live-stream of the Dota guy a couple days ago, very nice man, I love to watch other people paint. How often do you live-stream?

p.s. the icon is 'souls on the banks of the acheron' by Adolf Hiremy-Hirschl.. one of my favorite paintings

Really liking your varierty in drawing styles there! Just thought I'd drop by and link this, it's about that oh so important visual library. Feng brakes it down nicely, pretty sweet. If you've already seen it it's ok to give it another go xD

Nice start to your sketchbook and a nice variety of experimentation going on. I think you could push your values a bit more and try playing with some subtle colour variants in skin tones (greens etc) Keep pushing it!
