Steve's Sketchbook

Hey guys!

Been drawing a little over a year, mostly self-taught. Hope to go pro within the next 18 months. I think I can as long as I keep drawing every day.

Hey Steve, this looks like a nice start. The male figure and the eye look very good, you have an interesting 'handwriting' I'd like to see your drawings :)

Hey Steve, welcome to the daggers. A great start so far like ici said. Keep us updated and don't forget to show some personal work alongside those studies.

Next time I'll either zoom in and do the face right, or skip it altogether, half-assing is just dumb but I didn't have a lot of time tonight.

Tomorrow or the next day I'll try to do something imaginative. Thanks for the comments everyone.

Hey good start to your sketchbook. In your landscape pieces taking into account that the objects that are farthest from the eye will be less saturated than the ones closest to the viewer and making them less saturated by adding in them taking on the colour of the atmosphere. This will create a sense of depth in your image, helping it to read as a 3D space.

Keep studying and working hard.
