if you're having problems with your graphics tablet make sure you have up-to-date drivers installed. Some people don't realise that you have to do this when you get a new tablet for it to work properly
Here is a link to the Wacom site for drivers https://www.wacom.com/en-us/support/prod...rt/drivers
I went my first 2 years not installing a driver so I didn't even have pen pressure =.=

Thanks Crowbit, I remember trying to download the drivers or check according to instructions to stop it from stopping and jutting, but nothing worked. Pen pressure wasn't the issue, but wanted it to stop what ever the hell it was doing. Didn't have any issues since shifting to CSP. However, thanks for the tip about the updated drivers. I'll check that if anything goes awry and/or I try out Krita, again.  Thumbs_up

Tried to paint a version of a previous Barda sketch, using methods I'd been taught since the course. Layers, multiply+screen, add glow, testing values with Black 'colour' blending mode, etc. The only thing I'd try to add is to see whether I can get a screen tone that looks like chainmail. (If I knew how to do the thing where you post a previous image- I totes would. Seriously, tho, how do you do that?)
If I was to draw this again, I'd defoo make her brawnier.

Tried another go at my 'CyberPunk' girl after figuring out layers. Created lineart on a vector layer and did the whole 'make everything grey' to create clipping masks. But, I came to a problem when did the whole body as only 'grey flats' and wanted to render out the skin without touching the shirt, say.  So, I tried to do it with a 'layer mask' and it really started to lag. I ultimately want it to have her backlit with a gradient like a spotlight landing on her from the corner. However, I'm not too sure how to do that yet. Imma focus on rendering the rest of her out first, [bit difficult to be completely satisfied, because I've lost the original clothing refs] before I try to tackle any kind of 'rim light'. I want the finished background to be Black, so the lighting will really pop. Any advice appreciated!
