@ Knopfkater : Thanks trying my best to do all the thing I want to do like pixel art and other stuff but when I don't focus on less than 2 - 3 thing my mind start to freak out I think, so I stopped doing those, maybe later.

Waaahh! How come I never saw this sketchbook before :o its the cutest thing ever. Seriously your little characters are so precious. Especially that last blue guy with the hat. Keep up the great work I cant get enough of it <3

Nice stuff. A small critique that top head in the 7th picture up seems very big for it's body. Also some of these are looking quite stiff as poses, maybe do some more gesture studies.

@TriggerPigking Thanks for crit man, now that you say it, it does look too big for the body, thanks, I am gonna keep an eye on that for the next ones. And yes I totally agree with you, my drawing are super stiff :(, it is one of the big thing I want to improve on soon. thanks again.

I have a question, how do you go about doing your value studies? I ask because the two bearded men two posts ago looked very nice so I just wanted to ask for your process.

Thanks, I think I like it too, It was the first time in a while that I just followed the flow of my ideas while designing. I normally draw and go on different ideas for one character without really finishing it and I stay in a loop of idea and being unsure about if I made the right decision. What help me for sure this time, was that I had to clearer idea, I kept it simple and I didn't tried to over complicate thing. 

Sure! first, for any studies I try to have a small range in my values and I separate and group the values with darks (not black), grey, and whites (not really white though). You can go watch Jonny Hall on the talent tree livestream, he talks about this all the time and he's explication helped me a lot. For the two bearded man, I just started with a grey background (50%) and black lines on a separate layer, I lowered the opacity of that layer to 30% to have a darker grey than the background. That set up my values range with the lighter grey been at 50 % and my darkest grey been at 35 %. So those studies were to see if I could play with a 15 % value range for the whole thing. I use a simple flat round brush with an angle on it and opacity and flow on in the transfer tab I think it had a texture on it but it doesn't really needed it.
