Sketching corner

Hi people!
This is the first time I post up an online sketchbook, so I hope it goes well!
Looking forward for some serious feedback, and lots of learning!
So, let's start this thing with some recent studies.
Cheers Daggers! :)

I wanted to enter the Monster Hunter Bloodsports challenge, but I had no time to focus on my entry :(
But I will just post this really, really rough idea I had for the hunter.
Sorry for the ugly quality, but at least I wanted to have something done with this challenge.
The idea was to make a female hunter, based on mayan outfits but with some extra elements, but this was the only thing I could achieve...
Cheers!

Just a quick sketch of an idea that came to my head... still too rough.

Another rough idea... a pair of troll/demon brothers.

And a rendering practice... she's supposed to be a "space rockstar" or something like that...

All for now.
I hope to get some color sketches soon...

Cheers!

hey man,

welcome and such.
I like the sketches/thumbnails...loose but controlled.
The demon bros should get their own picture, it'd be cool to see what you're thinking in colors.

Thanks JasonR! Actually I am thinking about making a full picture of them! :D I think I liked the overall idea of those two :)
And today's quick practice/doodle with colors. Focusing on quick rendering. :)

These two are a bit old, some school works. Around 2 years old, but felt like posting them anyway :)

And this was my first zbrush work, and it was for school too :D done last year.

And one from last week.
Playing around with a different style, and a cliché character type...
Just for fun :B

Cheers daggers!

Thanks a lot Israel! :D
Sometimes I don't know if working with different styles is a good thing haha, I can't really find a personal style... :O

Another study.
Today trying a different approach in rendering, more focused on loose brush strokes.

New study.
This time I wasn't very happy with the result, but I'm posting it anyway. It should be good to have both succes and failure sketches around here :)
I always have symmetry problems when drawing/painting young faces D:

Ok, some new updates after a long inactivity.
This time some more sketching. I focused on head concepts this time, and trying to get quick ideas using Painter's symmetry tool. Hope to get some feedback on them :)
Cheers Daggers!

These are fantastic, lots of great shape in your characters, makes them very enticing. I like those old creature designs as well, did you do those with more traditional media? You should really go to town on more of these thumbnails as well :) try some multiple views, color, etc.

Hope to see more :)
