Yea, I think You can improve quickly by looking :D or is it my feeling only, heh.
You're using some lines for help on faces? 30 minutes for one face isn't a lot for only essencial lines?

I love the faces - and I don't think 30 mins is a lot, really. Speed is the last step - only worry about it when you get the actual quality right. So youre on the right track here, and the lines looks pretty good.
Love the material studies, did they had ref for each? Very nice. What was the focus? Just making spheres based on materials?
