Thought I'd stroll on in here. You have some really cool things in here. However, what has caught my attention is some of your traditional enviro studies. Do you do them from life? because they seem somewhat fairly local to me.
Your colour is work is looking good to me, as I tend to over saturate my colour. I have no crits except just please post more. Nice work...

Thanks Damien!
Pretty much all of my traditional environment studies are from life, either from my home town (i.e. the above watercolour) or at university. Regardless of location it's always overcast (british weather) and the landscapes tend to be similar since it's what I enjoy painting :P

Thanks guys :) I really need to get my time management in check though, I have so much spare time and I'm really not using it well enough!
I can see a billion things wrong with this painting but I was just using it to break the mold since environments have been pretty tough for me recently.

Hey there, love your last studies! Very entertaining and show you're developing your own style. Keep posting

Thanks guys :) my internet has been down for a couple of days and it's been lovely weather, so I've been plein air painting a bit. I'm still very amateur with watercolours but it's a lot of fun.

The way you apply texture to your digital environment sketches and your watercolours are just lovely. What paper you been using for your earlier sketches (on the 28th June)? Been looking for a new brand since my last one seems to be gone from the shops.

I am a terrible person that can't reply - I was working entirely in my Moleskine sketchbook then, although it wasn't very good at absorbing watercolour so I moved onto standard watercolour paper. Thank you!

Your envirnonments, characters, and concepts in general are tremendous. Watercolors need more layers, but you're getting there. Really inspirational sketchbook.

I'm going to stick my Four Witches stuff in here from now on just because the project is on something of a hiatus as my final major project prep for university begins.
Thanks for the kind words you guys :) Watercolours are still very much in their infancy, but I'm having a lot of fun with it!

Very nice character designs, and inspiring environments! You'll make a killing this second year if you continue going like this before you start again.
