Nice going about with those figure drawings. Really nice to do it live like that to really see the lines and the values, so keep that up!

hey hey,

sadly i have to work so much and i have to do so much for my second portfolio :(

I really want to work digital but i dont have the time right now.

Here just some quik little pencil sketches. I do them when i go by train. So their pretty rough.
Some of them took me 15-30 sek some 2-5 min.

The most people dont sit still or usually their leave the train when i start to sketch them.

seeing values in the train is pretty hard but i try my best.

hopefully i can go back digitaly soon to put some quality work out here !

Hey everybody

finally I have more time to work more on my bloq :)

I found the old picture of my first project what did before I ever even sketched :D

I jumped into photoshop without fundamentals.

I didn't know anything about perspective lighting etc...

Its pretty funny when I think about it. Its also funny that this was just 8-9 month ago.

But it also show that fundamentals are the most important thing to work on!

You always get what you put in. If you really want something just do it go for it and try to achieve it.

Goals in your life are so important! Don't be afraid.

You always have to work !

If you don't have a goal try to really think about it !

But never forget to also have a lot of fun ! Enjoy the process!

Hey,

I really happy to announce that I will study "Industrial Design" in the 1. October 2014 at the HTW Berlin Germany.

I had to made a portfolio for that. The first part was a task they gave me. This was about 3-5 29,7 x 42,0 CM sheets and the rest was personal stuff. I tried to show the process from concept stage to final rendering.

After passing this they invited me for an interview. Maaan I was so nervous.

Yesterday I get finally the confirmation that im accepted to study ID in October 2014.

Im so happy right now and also pretty excited.

When I think about, that I started sketching 9 month ago, I never thought this would happens so fast.

Now I can follow the food steps of great Industrial Designer like Scott Robertson Feng Zhu etc...!!

Hard work always pay´s off!

Always chase your dreams and never give up !

I really want to learn how to draw figures. Starting point was the character design for my personal project...but i acutally dont know how to drw figures :P

so guess what :D today i started with the gesture !

http://www.quickposes.com/

i set the timer on 120 sec and i really need these 2 minutes. I didnt even finish the most of them, but speed will come :)

I used to much lines in the first round...will improve on that and maybe one day i can set the timer on 60 seconds :D

and a two sketchbook pages from public transport today :)

Hmm... cant really see any of the drawing D: Maybe mess with the contrast in PS or the scanner settings. That or use something darker to draw with like a black pen. Either way keep practicing those figures every day!

Still learning figure !!

More I look for details about character design more I see what goes into a great character design.

Nobody said it would be easy !

Do my 120´s everyday!

I did a lot of digital character approaches for my character Ansgar

But their wasn´t good enough!

IM still search for knowledge !
