There's a mentality against doing fanart? that's weird imo.
One of the main reasons I do art is because I love being able to express my love for media that I enjoy lol, plus if the painting was enjoyable who the hell cares.(plus as we've seen before in the case of people like Dave Rapoza fan art can actually help you get your name out there).
