Madzia: That is an excellent crit, thank you very much! I want the guy to be overwhelmed with emotion, but not crying. A triangular comp would be a classical way of approaching it, I think it was an unconcious intention but I think I've lost it at one point. The perspective is a bit broken and the characters poses will have to be refined.

This is where I'm at. I feel as if I'm a bit stuck so I'll let it simmer for a while. Dunno about the composition at all. Then as sugar on the bottom, some doodles.
