Some books that aren't specifically illustration related are bloody useful and have information you can't get on the web easily, or it is a much more useful format, so i thought it would be cool to have a thread of useful books that help us with design.
I'll start with one of my favorites.
Essential Fashion Illustration: Details
Maite Lafuente
The book is essentially line drawings of individual garments, and covers pretty much every form of clothing that has been common in the last century. It's super useful to break out of making just t-shirt and jeans.
It taught me what the hell the difference is between a thong, a g-string, a tanga, a bikini and breifs.... it's really subtle.
Don't be offput by the face drawing, the drawings in the book are simple but well drawn and show all the neccessary details.

Ps. Any great books on makeup, hair styles or facial hair styles?

Drawing out of perspective is like singing out of tune. I'll throw a shoe at you if you do it.
