Just finished watching most of attack on titan and yeah I agree with the critism, nothing comes close to the first ep, the pacing never slows down even when it should, and some of the later titan designs are hilariously stupid looking I actually burst out laughing several times.
I think the shows very much a mixed bag of great good and meh, I do like the characters so far though, mainly the main chars sister(who I really think should have been the main character of the show) and potato girl.
