That's really nice piece! Is he powering up? Try having different shapes of the white triangles on the ground, maybe not so regular shapes, more like lightning, and try having more of them big, white triangles not just in the background, but also in the middle, near his feet, and in the foreground. Right now there are little traces, but if he's the source of the power surge, wouldn't the white stuff be most concentrated near him? Another thing to try is having this viewing angle changed to tilted, from an angle, to shake up the stable horizontal composition. More diagonal composition will feel more dynamic, like energetic, something's really happening right now! kind of feel.
