Not much time for lunchtime sketches, so it´s just this meh piece:

Very cool caterpillar in the iconic Alice scene. You really captured the condescending attitude.

I like the many ribbed bridge scene--so atmospheric! And the "meh" piece looks good to me. Really like the movement of the cloak and tentacle-like place.

@Tygerson: Thanks very much for liking my little speedpaintings :)

Here´s another one, something more scifi-ish, don´t paint a lot of those...

Swweeeeeet work man! I can see some nice texture work going on here. Keep it up ;>

@ califfguzman and ramalooke: Thanks very much! I need to squash in a lot more atmosphere/mood/lighting though :)

Some more studies/sketches/doodles for the last few days:

It's always good to see some pages of anatomy drawings. I digg that. Hope to see some work to apply all this knowlege soon <3

Reply
@ramalooke: I try to apply it on imaginary figure sketches. But I think it´s time that I paint something finished again, been doing practices and studies for a month now with no original work... :(

And another lunchtime landscape speedy:

@Sir-lex & Zipfelzeus: Thanks a lot! :) (Weird name Zipfelzeus, by the way...:D )

Here´s a speedpainting from, you guessed it, another lunchtime break. This time I created two, using the same base, but trying to convey a different mood/story to each painting:

Cool speedpaintings man. In the second one I think it would help the composition if you move the monster from the center of the canvas and off to the left a little bit.
Keept it up.

Reply
@razvanb08: Thanks, glad you like it! For a final painting, I would have moved the monster or maybe cropped the left border. I´m playing a bit with composition (although that is a subject I need to study more..), trying out, if the monster appears to lunge at the viewer more, when placing it more to the center.

A more peaceful and serene speedpainting from today:

Really dig those thematic winter paintings. Looks like they could fit well in a game such as Skyrim. There's a nice application of textures in your paintings too, keep at it!

Reply
@Adzerak: Thanks, that is a really nice compliment :)

Yesterday´s lunchtime sketch was so crappy, I dare not post it, so here´s the one from today:
