Classical Astrolabe/compass creation

So I'm working on a game concept right now for my portfolio, but wanted to add some classical astrolabe/compass style circular art to embellish the look. Here's an example of what I had in mind (for some sort of mystical device I will be using in the pitchbook):

I can only suggest loving your Pentool :3 and the usual duplicate similar elements :)

I need accurate or at least imitation accuracy of an astrolabe dial, or alternatively something like an esoteric magical diagram with some basis in actual mythology...or failing that maybe something that can generate different patterns each time instead of recreating it laboriously with the pen tools. (I see there are some scripts and astrolabe tools online but have no idea how to use them)
