Hey Guys,
I just wanted to say hi to the community here and introduce myself a bit.
My name is Ethan Brewerton, I graduated from the Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts (Long name, I know) back in 2011. It's a very small traditional school that, when I graduated was transitioning to a more Illustration friendly atmosphere.
I was taught a lot of traditional, observational skills but now I struggle with translating that into comic and concept art that I'm currently trying to get into. Also, I've focused so much on anatomy and perspective that I now have found that I'm working very hard on developing dynamic compositions and lighting. Also, I recently started the battle of the tablet, I use an Intuos 4, and translating my pen and paper skills to digital is taking some getting used to.
I have a blog at www.ESBrewerton.blogspot.com
Basically, long story short. I've got traditional training that I thought I could translate more easily into this profession, but now I'm feeling lost and would like any sort of help I could get. I will be posting around and hopefully become a part of this community.
See you guys around,
Ethan
