Hey guys,

here's what I've been up to the past few weeks.
I've been helping a friend who had to make a short movie and we decided to make an animated movie short. I'll embed the movie once it's done.

ALso drew some monsters and some heads for some other stuff.

Hope you guys like it.

A lot of good stuff here. I like all the cartoon animals, and it's good to see you balance it with many anatomy studies.

That last portrait looks really good. There are areas where you could push it more, but it's a great start. Keep doing more of those and try to apply what you learn.

Good luck and thank you for the link to that video, very useful stuff.

Leela sketch is looking nice! There's an issue with how she's standing, it seems like all her weight's going on the left leg so it should be under the center of her body so it can support her. As it is now she's about to fall over to the right. Well, provided there's gravity wherever she is XD

keep rockin' doublethink!

Thanks Samszym, haven't had a chance to work on it more, but you raise a good point!

A friend of mine just had a baby, and I wanted to get him something special for the baby shower. (read something I could paint and wouldn't cost me a lot of money :D)

So here's some pretty detailed sketches of the painting I plan on doing in acrylics.
I feel the first two are most fun. What do you guys think? (it's for the baby's room and the bee theme I stole from the birth card.)

Nice recent stuff doublethink! I think that sub's pretty cool, it's sorta like a hornet!

I'd definitely go with the first bee picture, it's got a really nice feel too it, with the variance in shape and the simple idea, I think it's definitely look nice on a room. As a mural or wallpaper even. Good luck!!

Thanks Sam, It will definitely be the easiest to do. So I'll probably do that one :P

Spent my afternoon further developing the Leela Illustration.
Quite happy with the top part.
Hands and feet still need some tender loving care ofcourse.
How do you guys feel about her legs? And her general pose?

But I'm thinking another 3-4 hours and I can call it done.
