Whoa Julius! That last figure is outstanding--!
You captured her torso, arms and left leg wonderfully! Seeing as its more of a figure study, the face is fine ~

That non-reffed self-portrait is a very interesting idea as well o:

Can't wait to see what you create next!
Keep it up :D

Aaaw, thanks dude (dudette?)
You guys comments really keep me pushin' when I'm low on motivation :>

University started again and today I've been painting a figure in acrylic. Didn't go that well. No matter how hard I tried, I just wasn't able to get the colors I had in mind. GNAAH, gotta get more experience with that.

And a speedpainting in the evening:

Cheers!

Hello, fellow German!

After looking through your sketchbook, I really admire your confident and expressive brushstrokes. Also some very nice color variations. The woman in post #12 is amazing.

If you don't mind me asking, where/what are you studying?

Keep it up :)

Stuff of the day:

Another 30 minute Spitpaint - 'Fog Army'

And this one started as a Spitpaint, but I got carried away by painting this. Was fun! In the end I painted about 2.5 hours I'd say. 'Magic Ball'

Cheers!

Loong time no see :o

The winter really kind of depresses me and I lost all the great motivation I had. Finally regaining some of it.

So heres an update. I just just throw it all in here. Excuse me for that, I just wonna get back into my old 'almost daily' upload rythm so hard.

These are studies and the equivalent memory studies.

And a WIP I'm working on at the moment:

Hope you enjoy them a bit, through I just threw them in here.
Have a good one :)

Wow, what an improvement on the faces. Love your skin tones and how you're able to vary them depending on the piece... the last WIP is really cool. I'm a bit sad that the dagger obscures her pretty face, but then again, this creates just the right mood of anticipation and anxiety!

Keep it up :)

Studies and spitpaints lookin good! And some nice color going on in the imagination stuff. Like Lyraina said, I think the dagger obscuring that lady's face is a little odd composition-wise because I'd love to see her whole face. Keep up the hard work man, hope to see lots more from you
