havent been streaming but I am still studying, keeping that momentum going. No more excuses or long posts about what I am going to do, here it is.

More figure studies and then trying to apply what I learned into a really simple character design.

two posts in a row? get them juices going people!! (btw the streams have been kind of distracting to me thats why I havent been doing them but I have not stopped the studies! ) Keep them coming people!

Decided I will always do 30 gestures every day, today I focused on building them up from the gesture to a more solid structure or "moveable" figure.

More gestures and construction of the human figure studies over the last 2 days was a little busy and didnt get to upload yesterday and do as much as I wanted to do weekends are hectic for me, will bust out more tomorrow! What I am doing is taking photos and starting with a gesture and "building up" from these gestures into (at least trying to be) a 3 dimensional figure, and something that I can start to build and add muscles and details to.

Not sure what your guys idea is on studying comps, I think its general values to determine overall compositional elements? Anyhooz. I really want to get a lot better at panel layouts for comics simultaneously, so I'm going to add that into the mix. Doing movie stills is interesting in contrast to comics since a lot of the compositional transitions deal with movement and scene transitions, which you don't have with single illustrations. Also, with comics you have to consider the entire page's transitions in an initial visual-read of that composition. -its cool too to think about what format you're making the composition for, i.e. digital web page transitions, book/magazine page turning format, smartphone scroll-downs, et cetera. without further adieu...

COMPOSITIONS! O_o

Awesome helix! analyzing what you need to study and doing it! I want to make sure I stress that to everyone if you feel like your "falling behind" dont do a study for the sake of a study, really take the time to learn. Even if you do little to no drawing and sit for an hour and analyze how something works or looks and take notes, that is still learning. Lets not get too hung up on copying, remember figure out what you need to fix in your art to make it better or to achieve the goals you want and attack it head first! Doing great people lets keep charging!!!

Here are more gestures so far I am up to 260 of them in the last few days (at least I think I am my math may be off) do these everyday and I think starting next month do them each a little longer till I am doing 30 full figures each day, slowly building my way up to more and more.
