It's been around 4months since i've posted on here, been working hard on perusing my art and what i want to do, i've been branching out to more illustration which in turn has improved my drawing ability alot, and also helped me with my digital.

After two weeks at life drawing really realized i need to take a step back and practice how to measure the muscles and such properly, think im getting close!'ish

about a week ago i started this piece, and felt good about where it was going then i started life drawing and was woken up to the importance of measuring and proportions ect ect the measuring with a pencil business and that has made me re think lots of my work and my process and what i need to focus on. so here is the one i started.



And here is it after spending a hour mapping out and measuring and what not

Hey, you are doing a good job so far. I like your studies. Try doing some more lizzard and bird studies for dragons,they will be helpful I believe. And also-bird and bat wings.

Hey panda thanks for the comment, yeah it was one of those where i just went for it, im happy with parts but the forms and anatomy need looking at also the placements of things. I had looked at Bats wing was the idea for the wings i've given him just need rendering up and working on some day! haha. Thanks

So about a week ago, i had a word with myself and a good kick up the arse, said alot of truths and now im really starting to see and understand more ( well atleast i think i am ), im less up in my head and getting frustrated and now more relaxed which has made me 100% more productive, cry more! haha, well this is what ive been upto this past week.


















Given myself a brief to design some different alien creatures. to design a few and then to put them into a piece, i think ill develop it some more and maybe create another group that could face off against the aliens.
